Players connecting to our servers may see a new error message on their screen. From today, anyone found to be connecting to our game server from a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or other Proxy service will be kicked immediately.
I have taken this measure to prevent abuse on our game server as it seems some people like to circumvent IP Bans by masking their IP with such services.
Below is an example of what happens when you connect using a VPN.
Hi Player17. you where in fact banned on the server. This was because you were in game when the bot "Alerted" you that you would recieve a temp ban for whatever reason: too many warnings, spectator too long, teamkilling etc. However instead of giving the bot time to finish this action you disconnected from the server. therefor the bot upgrades the ban to 2days.
In future you can avoid this ban not repeating the action you did to receive the warnings in the first place.
